Collections

A Collection is a group of related Items. Think of it as a category or a container. You can't have an Item that doesn't belong to a Collection. The wonderful thing about Collections in Maxilist are that items fall into them automatically. You don't need to add them to collections manually.

  • The "Medium Blue T-Shirt" Item would live in a Collection called "Men's T-Shirts".
  • The "DeWalt 20V Cordless Drill" Item could be in a Collection called "Power Tools".
  • The "Amazing Spider-Man #1" Item might belong to a Collection called "Silver Age Comics".

Collections help you keep similar things together, making them easy to browse and manage.

Collections are powered by filters, which allow you to group items based on specific criteria.

Adding items to a Collection is automatic, so you don't need to do anything special. Just change the item fields properly and Maxilist will take care of the rest.
