Items

An Item is a single, individual record in your inventory. It's the "thing" you are actually tracking.

  • For a retailer, an Item would be a single product, like a "Medium Blue T-Shirt."
  • For a contractor, an Item could be a specific tool, like a "DeWalt 20V Cordless Drill."
  • For a collector, an Item would be a single collectible, like a "1963 Amazing Spider-Man #1 Comic Book."

Each Item holds all the important details: its name, quantity, price, images, and any custom fields you've created for it.

How to Add an Item​

  1. Navigate to Collections screen.
  2. Tap on the Item button on bottom of the screen.
  3. Edit the details of the item.
  4. Tap the Save button on top of the screen.

How to Discard Changes​

The nice feature of Maxilist is that you can discard any changes you have made to your data by simply existing the edit item screen and pressing the Discard button on the way out.

How to Delete an Item​

  1. Navigate to Collections or Scanner screen and navigate to the item you want to delete through any means such as searching, barcode scanning, filters, etc.
  2. Tap on the item to enter details page.
  3. Tap the Delete button on the top of the screen.

How to Undo Changes​

Once you save or delete an item, you can undo the action by tapping the Undo button on the success dialog for a few seconds.
